The partnership will be brought to life through a range of guest and community-facing experiences and to be activated in three hotels in Vietnam including New World Saigon Hotel, New World Phu Quoc Resort, New World Hoiana Beach Resort.

Guests will enjoy a co-branded retail pop-up experience in the hotel lobby, creating a distinctive Marou-led retail moment within the hotel setting. Marou chocolates stand as the definitive gift to take home from Vietnam—an elegant expression of the nation’s contemporary creativity, exceptional quality, and rich, distinctive flavour. The collaboration also features a co-branded Dark Chocolate 55% Roasted Buckwheat bar, presented in packaging made from recycled cacao husk. Combining sustainability with craftsmanship, it reflects a shared commitment to thoughtful making and responsible design. In addition, New World Hotels & Resorts and Marou Chocolate chefs will curate an elevated in-house F&B experience, including an afternoon tea concept and menu developed using Marou chocolate as ingredients—offering a refined, chocolate-forward taste journey. Rounding out the lineup, the brands will introduce a customised co-branded gift item for summer gifting, reflecting their shared values of authenticity, craftsmanship, storytelling, conscious lifestyle, and doing good. In 2011, Samuel Maruta and Vincent Mourou set out on an adventure in Vietnam. What they found was something unexpected: cacao unlike anything they had ever tasted.
